Marina di Ragusa

In the south-east of Sicily, Marina di Ragusa is part of the Municipality of Ragusa, 25 km from the provincial capital. It is one of the most southern districts of the island, located further south than the city of Tunis, which is why its climate is mild for 8/9 months of the year.

The area is an ideal place for summer holidays as it enjoys an excellent climate, a clear sea and beaches of fine golden sand, free for the use of bathers. The water is shallow and therefore safe for children. Since 2006, the Blue Flag has been recognized by the Fee.

The option of combining holidays by the sea with many places to visit, makes Sicily one of the most popular destinations for tourists. In addition to the sea, in fact, a visit to Scicli, Modica and Ragusa Ibla, is strongly recommended, all Unesco Heritage Sites for the many Baroque style palaces and beautiful churches.

Comiso Airport "Pio La Torre", was opened in 2012, with services from Ryanair and Alitalia, for national and international destinations. Catania, 125 km away, remain is the most important airport in Sicily.
